Born March 13, 1948, in Green Bay, Wis., she died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at home following
a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Interment will be private. Mary Kay was raised in
Detroit, Mich. and graduated from St. Mary of Redford High School, where she forged many
lifelong friendships. She was an artist and antique dealer who saw the beauty in the most
common and unusual objects.
Survivors include her loving children, Cara of Glen Ellyn,
Brian of Prescott, Ariz. and Colleen of Glen Ellyn; former husband, Thomas; mother,
Dorothy Mae Clancy of Farmington Hills, Mich.; brothers, Jack (Evelyn) Clancy of
Stavanger, Norway and Keith Clancy of Dover, Del.; sisters, Jill (Dan) Clinton of
Farmington Hills, Colleen (Mick) Zanotti of Traverse City, Mich. and Jane (Rod) Johnson of
Whiteman AFB, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. |
