| It seems fitting to start this section
with the place that had such an impact on our lives. I would guess that many of you have
not been in the old neighborhood in quite a while. I know it has been over thirty years
since I set foot inside St. Mary of Redford. So, here is a picture of the inside of the
church taken in 1992. This picture has been compressed to help with download time so it is
not as clear as it could be but I'm sure your memory will fill in the details.
Seems kind of sad (at least to me) that the altar is not used anymore. If you want to see the newest changes, check out the main photo section - then click on *now and then*. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We also remember....... St. Mary's Bakery and hot lunch sticks and cherry rolls. Bashers small soda shop and the nickel jukebox. (I remember *Come Go With Me* by the Del Vikings as being pretty popular.) And, of course - The Red Devil!
