Sr. Eleanor LeGue
| MONROE -- Sister Eleanor LeGue, a Catholic teacher and member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, died Thursday, January 18, 2001 in Monroe. She was 87. Sister Eleanor was born in Mt. Clemens and joined IHM in 1934. She earned a bachelor's degree in 1949 and a master's degree in 1969 from Marygrove College. She taught at schools in Michigan and Ohio, including St. Mary in Mt. Clemens; St. Francis de Sales, St. Agnes, St. Mary of Redford and Gesu School in Detroit. She taught at Gesu from 1972-93 and then retired. |
